I usually try and get commissions and art done whenever I first get the payment!What I will do is every so often send WIPs just so you can check on how I’m doing!If you use it for personal use or commercial use, please credit me!Refunds obviously will be available if needed, but remember to communicate, I’d always love to help if needed.I have the right to refuse a commission.GENERAL TERMS:• Please write in a clear and polite manner when messaging and Provide clear references when required. (If I'm drawing your character, they will be required.)• Any ill behavior will not be tolerated and your commission will be canceled if it occurs.• I, the artist, have the right to decline or cancel a commission for any reason.• Commission prices are subject to change, but price changes will not apply if a client is in the queue for a commission and they made their commission request before the change took place.• Clients must state whether their commission will be used solely for personal use or if they intend to use it commercially and potentially profit off of the work.• Clients must state whether or not they would like their commission to remain private, otherwise I’d love to post it if possible!PROCESS:- The client must provide a clear idea of the work they would like. (The kind of commission you buy will be the one you receive.)- The client must provide clear reference images if required. (Which they will be if it’s a custom character)- Work will be started once full payment has been received. I, the artist, will confirm with the client that I have received payment, then I’ll get to work!- Work In Progress will be given to the client in the form of a low resolution JPG after each phase (pencil/sketch, ink/line art, and color).- Work will be started as soon as possible once payment has been received. The artist will inform the client if there is a queue for commissioned work and will keep them informed of their place in line.- The client will be sent a high resolution file of their commission via ko-fi dm or email (or discord if I have you on there) once the client has confirmed that the work is to their satisfaction.CUSTOMER SATISFACTION- I, the artist, will do everything I can to make my clients happy.
• However, big changes cannot be made after the work is complete and the client has received their high resolution files. (Obviously if I’ve missed off character markings or tattoos, they can be quickly added in.)- I, the artist, ask that the client be clear with what they would like from the beginning to avoid any major issues and minimize the chance of needing changes made.Last bits!Obviously I only hold the ownership to the finished art piece, which means I’d hopefully love to post it on places once I’m done to further add examples to my online spaces with my art. (Unless stated you want to keep it private!)If the art is for personal use, you can:- Print the art, and claim the right of their characters) but not the drawing itself.- Share the artwork on their own social media pages and/or use the art to promote themselves with proper credit given to the artist.CANCELING/REFUNDING POLICY- I have the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time.
• The client may only request a cancellation and refund during the pencil/sketch phase. (That way not much of my time has been used up.)- If a cancellation is requested during the ink phase or colour phase, no refund will be given.- 100% refunds will never be made once the work has been inked/coloured. (Sketches are okay to refund though.) (Reason being is the issue can be avoided with communication, I’d rather start over again to get the art done to your liking haha.)- If you file a chargeback against me, your right to everything I have ever made for you will be retracted.- You will be forbidden to commission me, EmilyTheCosmicBat, ever again.Any statement can be bound to change if discussed with me, the artist, prior to the commission.
